Orthopedic Specialist / Hand and Upper Extremity Surgery Subspecialty
Dr. Miguel Alejandro Gómez Trillos is a Medical Doctor and Surgeon from CES University, having graduated in 2007. He completed his specialization in Orthopedics and Traumatology at the Pontifical Bolivarian University in 2012.
He completed a subspecialty program in Hand and Upper Extremity Surgery at the University of Barcelona, Spain, and a training program in Microsurgery at the Experimental Surgery Center of the Parc Taulí Hospital in Sabadell, Spain, in 2013 and 2014.
He began his professional career as an Orthopedic and Trauma Surgeon in 2012 at the IPS University– León XIII Clinic, Del Norte del Valle de Aburrá Clinical Foundation, and the IPS SaludCoop Medellín Clinic, branch number 80.
Since completing the subspecialty program in 2014, he has been working as an Orthopedic Surgeon specialized in Hand and Upper Extremity at the Campestre Clinic, Pablo Tobón Uribe Hospital, and INCODOL Clinic.
Dr. Gómez has continued his professional development by attending the latest courses and symposiums in the hand surgery field, including the FESSH 2018 Congress in Copenhagen, the ASSH 2017 Annual Course in San Francisco, and the 13th Triennial Congress of the International Federation of Societies for Hand Surgery in Buenos Aires, Argentina. He also participated as both an attendee and speaker in courses organized by the Colombian Association of Hand Surgery (ASOCIMANO).
