Orthopedic Specialist / Foot and Ankle Subspecialty
Dr. Juan Fernando Posada Hurtado is a Medical Doctor and Surgeon graduated from the Pontifical Bolivarian University of Medellín in 1989. He is also an Orthopedist and Traumatologist from the same institution, graduating in 1996. He joined the Campestre Clinic in 2021, where he focuses on evaluating and managing traumatic and non-traumatic diseases or foot and ankle problems.
He has been an orthopedist and traumatologist associate at the Pablo Tobón Uribe Hospital in the same city since 1996, where he has been a member of the Foot and Ankle group since its formation in 2002. He was a partner at the Las Américas Clinic from 1991 to 2018 and has been an affiliated physician since then for the specialty pathology management.
In 2003, he received training in the management and surgery of foot and ankle trauma pathologies in the United States at the Institute for Foot and Ankle Reconstruction at Mercy, Baltimore (Dr. Mark Myerson). In 2005, he attended further training at Baylor Hospital in Dallas (Dr. James Brodsky), and in 2007, at the Barcelona Hospital Clinic (Dr. Pablo Fernández de Retana).
He is a professor for the Foot and Ankle module for residents at the Pontifical Bolivarian University and various universities nationwide. He has participated as a national and international speaker on this pathology.

- Member of the Antioquia Society of Orthopedics and Traumatology. President for the 2009-2010 term.
- Full member of the Colombian Society of Orthopedic Surgery and Traumatology.
- Member of the Board of Directors of the Colombian Society of Foot and Ankle Surgery, affiliated with the SCCOT (until 2019, Foot and Ankle Chapter).
- Member of the Board of Directors of the Las Américas Business Group, 2016-2018.
