Internal Medicine Physician, Infectious Disease Specialist
Dr. Carlos Andrés Agudelo Restrepo is a General Physician and Internal Medicine Physician from the Pontifical Bolivarian University. He holds a Master’s degree in Epidemiology from the CES University, a specialization in Infectious Diseases from the National Autonomous University of Mexico, and a Master’s degree in Public Health from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine.
He has worked at institutions such as the San Vicente de Paúl Hospital in Urrao, the Pablo Tobón Uribe Hospital, and the Corporation for Biological Research.
Currently, he works at the Bolivarian University Clinic, San Vicente de Paúl Hospital (Rionegro), Campestre Clinic, and serves as an Advisor for Sura Diagnostic Aids, Sura EPS, and Sura ARL. He is an associate professor at the Faculty of Medicine of the Pontifical Bolivarian University in both undergraduate and postgraduate programs (infectious diseases, maternal-fetal medicine, and internal medicine).
Dr. Carlos Andres has more than 30 published articles in national and international indexed scientific journals and more than 5 chapters in international books on infectious diseases.
